When the opportunity to come together presents itself to such a tight knit community, Thalun students, parent and faculty really go all out. We have a wide range of school events, arranged but our student leadership, faculty and parents.

After School Activities
Our after-school activity program (ASA) offers students from PK to G12 the opportunity to get involved in extracurricular activities and clubs. There are a variety of activities offered every trimester, so students have a chance to try new activities or advance their skills in others.
Offerings change every trimester to reflect the desires of the students and the talents in the community. In trimester 1 we had 22 activities ranging from cooking classes and Mandarin lessons to filmmaking and K-Pop Choreography. In trimester 2 students can choose to continue an existing activity, or join new offerings such as TED-Ed or origami club.
Year Long Organizations
Some groups such as our STUCO (Elementary and Secondary Student Council), the Community Service Club and MUN (Model United Nations) commit to this for the length of year. In doing so students show their commitment and dedication to a cause or duty larger than themselves, working towards independence, college readiness and life in which service to others is of value.
